The launch of Sullivan’s came to life with a round of good wines and even better company. A big thank you to everyone who came along — these tastings are at the heart of what Sullivan’s is all about: discovering drinks together and building a brand to support the producers behind them.
Each bottle we opened was selected by us, and your feedback helps us decide what earns a permanent place on our shelves (and in our product boxes). Below, you’ll find a rundown of everything we poured — complete with tasting notes and crowd favorites from our weekend survey.
Shepard Vuk White Shiraz
2023 - Kies
A delicate and floral dry white crafted from Barossa's Shiraz grapes. It features notes of stone fruit, and jasmine, culminating in a crisp, refreshing finish.
Rosé
2024 - Cimicky
Delicate aromas, tight bubbles, refined flavours, and a crisp natural acidity — the hallmarks of premium sparkling wine crafted from cool-climate fruit sourced from multiple vineyards in the area, and bottle fermented in a traditional style.
Klauber Block Shiraz
2021 - Kies
Crafted from 70-year-old vines on varied Barossa soils, this Shiraz delivers bold structure, rich dark fruit, and layered complexity. 20 months in French and American oak build depth and balance. A powerful yet refined wine with a dry finish.
Chardonnay
2023 - Cimicky
From the Adelaide Hills vineyard a bright and elegant Chardonnay, that surprised most with delicate nectarine aromas and subtle spice from barrel fermentation.
Grenache
2024 - Cimicky
Served slightly chilled with a bright ruby hue, aromas of fresh cranberries, and pomegranate. The palate is soft and vibrant, with fine acidity and gentle tannins adding a graceful finish.
Estate Range Shiraz
2021 - Cimicky
Aromas of spiced plums, boysenberry, mocha, and earth lead into a ripe, fruit-driven palate with layered spice and soft tannins. Balanced and expressive, it finishes with gentle warmth and a medium-length persistence.
Pinot Noir Chardonnay Rosé
NV - Grant Burge
